What's She Doing Here? The Messy Women in Jesus's Genealogy
Seductress. Prostitute. Outcast. Adulterer. Pregnant Unwed Teen. Who would highlight that kind of ancestry? Jesus would. Join Susan Tyner in examining how God wove the messy stories of Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary together into His Big Story of salvation. And learn how He continues to redeem His children—one messy story at a time. Susan Tyner serves as Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Susan and her husband, Lee, have five children, and an almost empty nest.
When: Thursday evening beginning September 8th, 6:30-8:00

Mom's Group (led by Ellen Monroe and Nancy Butkowski)
Meets every 2nd and 4th Monday in the Youth Room. It is a great opportunity for moms with young children to connect with one another along the parenting journey. This is a place to meet other moms, share stories, find encouragement, have fun, study the Bible, and grow together in life and faith. Childcare is provided with a reservation.

Table for 4 (Susanne Lewis)
Table for 4 creates an environment to help strengthen your church friendships and it is a great way to get to know new faces. You will be put in a group of 4 women who will meet together once a month from October to May. You will take turns organizing the activity that will bring you together…coffee, tea, lunch, dinner, dessert… or be creative. Members and visitors, are invited to sign up if you are interested in being in a group.
Young at Heart (Jan Rooker)
Young at Heart is a senior ladies ministry that focuses on connecting more with one another and the Covenant community. Different ladies will host a lunch in their homes throughout the year. This is a time for all women to soak up wisdom from our senior saints and encourage one another.
Bookmarkers (Ellen Monroe)
Bookmarkers is a summer book club where ladies read and then gather to discuss selected books. Watch the bulletin for dates, times and places.

Body and Soul Fitness Class (Susanne Lewis)
This is where faith and fitness meet. Cardio and strength training meet on Tuesday and Friday at the church from 9:00-10:15 a.m. Childcare is available with reservations.
Meals On Wheels (Kim Tramel)
Meals are prepared in a central kitchen in NLR and delivered in coolers to various pickup points around town for the driver to pick up. There are usually 8-14 stops per route. The recipients are often more hungry for your friendship than for the actual food. If you cannot deliver on your day you merely call the Meals On Wheels office and they will take care of getting a substitute from their staff.
For more information, contact the church office.
