Fall Quarter Adult Sunday School Classes:
The General Class
“How good is good enough?” We as God’s people are blessed in His salvation but also live in a world and even in our own lives struggling with sin. The pursuit of holiness must be motivated by an ever-increasing understanding of the grace of God; else it can become oppressive and joyless. God’s grace is sufficient and living by it is essential, and the biblical principle of living by grace is related to the biblical principle of personal discipline. Join us to study “The Discipline of Grace” by Jerry Bridges! Carl Monroe will lead the class which begins September 4th and will meet in the big room in the Fellowship Hall.
The Community Class
Parenting in the Pew: Guiding Your Children into the Joy of Worship. "Father, I'd like you to meet my children." Millions of young people are leaving the church as they transition into adulthood. This discussion-based class will look at how we get kids engaged with the privilege of worshipping God from a young age, and continue to faithfully follow Jesus into adulthood in a dramatically changing culture. This class will be led by Jason and Felicia Van Goor. It begins September 11th and will meet in the John Knox Classroom.
