COVENANT WOMEN

We support the mission of Covenant Presbyterian Church and provide opportunities for Covenant women to grow deeper in their relationship with God and one another, through Bible study, fellowship, ministry, and service.

2024 Covenant Women's Retreat

We are so excited to welcome Abby Kuykendall as our main speaker. Abby lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, Kyle. She is a food blogger, Instagram personality, speaker, and writer. She loves being in the kitchen cooking meals for her friends and family...but, more than that she loves sharing about Jesus, the table, and community! She is the author of, The Living Table: Recipes and Devotions for Everyday Get Togethers. It is full of delicious, easy-to-recreate recipes and fun, DIY projects that take 15 minutes or less.

We are also thrilled to have organizational expert, Sue Fehlberg. Sue is the owner of TidyNest and Arkansas' only certified KonMarie consultant. She will be sharing tips on how we can organize and declutter our homes-focusing on keeping what we love.

*Register for the retreat at the table in the sanctuary foyer before and after the worship service every Sunday in January*

The cost is $50 and scholarships are available — contact Nicole Kinzler at nicole.kinzler@gmail.com

Mom's Group (led by Ellen Monroe and Nancy Butkowski):

Meets every 2nd and 4th Monday in the Youth Room. It is a great opportunity for moms with young children to connect with one another along the parenting journey. This is a place to meet other moms, share stories, find encouragement, have fun, study the Bible, and grow together in life and faith. Childcare is provided with a reservation.

Ministry Opportunities:

Care Ministry (Jan Rooker)
Be the Body of Christ for those in need.  Fix meals, provide money for meals, and take meals to grieving families, new mothers, and those in need.

Table for 4 (Susanne Lewis)
Table for 4 creates an environment to help strengthen your church friendships and it is a great way to get to know new faces. You will be put in a group of 4 women who will meet together once a month from September to May. You will take turns organizing the activity that will bring you together…coffee, tea, lunch, dinner, dessert… or be creative. Members and visitors, are invited to sign up if you are interested in being in a group.

Young at Heart (Linda Scholl)
Young at Heart is a senior ladies ministry that focuses on connecting more with one another and the Covenant community.  Different ladies will host a lunch in their homes throughout the year. This is a time for all women to soak up wisdom from our senior saints and encourage one another.

Ministry Opportunities in our Community:

Body and Soul Fitness Class (Susanne Lewis)
This is where faith and fitness meet.  Cardio and strength training meet on Tuesday and Friday at the church from 9:00-10:15 a.m.  Childcare is available with reservations.
